Colorado Stream Update: Still in winter mode, fish are slow to feed on midges

Current Conditions at San Juan:

The famed Texas hole provides opportunities to shake the cabin fever. The braids and upper areas are of similar result. Fish are feeding slow, best chances for eats are nymphing small midge patterns. The San Juan river sees a lot of angling pressure, close doesn't cut it, make sure your fishing depth is exact.

This is a good bet for solid winter fishing days.  The fishing is fair.  Clear skies and 40-43 degree weather. The water temperature was between 36-39 degrees and Slightly Off.
