Colorado Stream Update: If you are tired of driving to the foothills and mountains in search of crowded trout streams, give Quincy Reservoir a try! Lot of bass and perch are available for anglers willing to put in time!

Current Conditions at Quincy Reservoir:

Bass fishing overall has been fair to good. Most of the bass are being caught in the early mornings and evenings using soft plastics, drop shots, and spinnerbaits in 15 feet of water just outside of the weed line. Trout action is slow at this time. Perch fishing is fair to good using jigs. Boating hours for September are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. For fly fishing for bass at Quincy be sure to have a lot of rabbit strip flies in purple and black, when tied on jig head style hooks these flies are very effective.

The fishing is fair.  Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 56-59 degrees and Slightly Off.
