Colorado Stream Update: Its Dry-Dropper season on Bear Creek!

Current Conditions at Bear Creek:

It seems that these fish are finally looking up at the surface and taking your dry fly offering. Parachute Adams, BWOs, and black foamed bodied Caddis dry flies are all working well on the surface right now. Trail your dry fly with a small bead head Pheasant Tail or Copper John to cover two different water columns and you should have yourself a double digit trout day! The best fishing right now is at O'Fallon Park.

Bear Creek is ice free and the fly fishing is great. Our local streams close to Denver and Boulder are producing great fly fishing days. The water is low and clear and the fish are hungry. Fly fishing trips have been great. Late spring temperatures are running high around Denver. Get in some time right now before the water begins to blow out!  The fishing is good.  Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 44-47 degrees and Crystal Clear.
