Colorado Stream Update: There isn't a whole lot of action going on in Waterton Canyon at the moment.

Current Conditions at Waterton:

The South Platte through Waterton is still running pretty skinny at 37 cfs, so this has the water temperature cold and the trout still very lethargic. Fish are pooled up in deep, slow water here and are only taking small offerings-- do not use above a size #22 hook as the insects are still very small. Along with that, 6x tippet is the only way to go.

Not too terribly crowded on the river today.  The fishing is slow.  Clear skies and 52-55 degree weather. The water temperature was between 32-35 degrees and Crystal Clear.
