Colorado Stream Update: There is better fishing to be had on Boulder Creek

Current Conditions at South Boulder Creek:

South Boulder Creek below Gross Reservoir (Walker Ranch) has been cut to 10 cfs by Denver Water, which is way too low of a flow to fish. Wait for flows to raise to at least 30 cfs before heading to the Walker Ranch section of South Boulder Creek. The gauge station for this section of water is named, South Boulder Creek below Gross Reservoir, on Colorado's water department website.

March is a great time of year for fly fishing! Take advantage of the sunny days most rivers are ice free and the trout bite is on!  The fishing is awful.  Clear skies and 19- degree weather. The water temperature was between 32-35 degrees and Crystal Clear.
