Wednesday, May 30, 2012Colorado Stream Update: The fly fishing in Cheesman Canyon has been reported to be good to great right now. I hiked into the canyon today and was pleased to find good stable flies and lots of bugs hatching."
Current Conditions at Cheesman Canyon:
A wide variety of fly fishing flies were working on the trip. Scuds, worms, caddis and stones were all fooling their fair share of Front Range trout. I even caught an early morning cut bow on a streamer right before the sun came up!
The fishing is good. Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 40-43 degrees and Slightly Off.
