Fishing Conditions: GREAT
Fly Fishing Report Date:
Saturday, Apr 21, 2012Colorado Stream Update: "It was great to be in Colorado's beautiful Gunnison Valley for the first time in a long while. The lower Taylor and Spring Creek are running nice and clear and the fly fishing is great!"
Current Conditions at Taylor:
Fishing Spring Creek (a good sized tributary of The Taylor) was so much fun! The water is low and clear and the fish were spooky. Long casts and long leaders with a dry and double dropper rig, while crawling on your hands and needs was what was needed to hook fish.
The fishing is great. Clear skies and 56-59 degree weather. The water temperature was between 36-39 degrees and Crystal Clear.
