Monday, Apr 9, 2012Colorado Stream Update: "Colorado's Eagle River is fly fishing great we had a great trip and are pleased to report that spring is in the air!"
Current Conditions at Eagle:
The fishing is really turning on. Midges and small mayflies are hatching and some of the fish are eating eggs. A nymph rig with an egg trailed by a small zebra midge or barr's emerger will catch most of the fish.
The fishing is good. Clear skies and 48-51 degree weather. The water temperature was between 40-43 degrees and Crystal Clear.
